Pitchforks! Torches! Worst Baseball Fans Ever Steal Foul Ball From Bawl Boy

Why
is this kid bawling? His parents had the unfortunate luck of sitting
him next to the two worst people on the planet right now (subject to
change in the blink of an Internet news cycle).
On
Wednesday night at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, two Texas Rangers
fans intercepted a ball that should have gone home with the small child
to their right. The kid, justifiably, lost his composure. The ball
thieves, obliviously, had no idea what kind of psychological torment
they just unleashed on a poor unsuspecting kid. They’re just yukkin’ it
up, lovin’ the moment. SI’s Jimmy Traina has the vid:
Go ahead, pose for pictures for your social networking and such:
Later, another fan (not the jerks) gave the kid a ball:
All’s well that ends well:
Here’s
a quick pro tip: If you’re over the age of 19, and you’re at the
ballpark, any ballpark, and a ballboy or a player throws a souvenir into
the crowd, you give it to a damn kid. Failure to do so will result in a
suspension of all baseball fandom privileges. No exceptions. One
strike, you’re out.
The Rangers won the game 7-3. But, really, who cares? Who can celebrate after watching that heist?!
