Tell Nike to Drop Homophobic Boxer Manny Pacquiao
In
an interview published Tuesday, May 15th with the conservative Examiner
newspaper, the world-famous boxer and Los Angeles resident quoted
Leviticus, saying:
"If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."
Kids all over the world look up to
Pacquiao as a role model. Nike earned a 100% rating in the 2012 Human
Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index as a pro-LGBT company. Will they live up to it?

Nike: "Do not tarnish your brand. Stand with millions of LGBT and fair
minded-people the world over. Drop Manny Pacquiao now. Hatred surely
does not = Nike."
